Your inner warrior is the deep part of you that mentally, emotionally and spiritually protects you - it trains, builds strength, cares for their tools and weapons, and maintains vigilance.
When we embrace our inner warrior, we are able to draw on incredible energy when we face situations that threaten our journey. By building strength internally we are prepared external for the battle.
Try these ideas that I use to embrace my own inner warrior:
𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧. Are you a Viking shield maiden or a Knight on horseback? My inner warrior is a fierce queen.
𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫. Can you think of three adjectives or more that describe your champion? Mine are calm, wise, unyielding, undaunted, and powerful.
𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 or make a playlist that helps you access your inner warrior energy. Play this any time you want to train your inner warrior or you need a reminder of who they are. I personally like “Queen” by Loren Gray.
𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 “𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞”. Action hero? Diplomat? Rebel? Activist? Joybringer? All of these types have different strengths and your warrior might not even be listed here. What strengths does your inner warrior bring and what type would they be? My Queen is a what I call a Royal... she brings elegance, order, diplomacy, grace and wisdom when I need it most. She rises above the difficulties and encourages others to do the same. And she does not bow down — she holds her head high so as to keep the crown firmly in place.
𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝. Ask yourself what your champion would do any time you encounter a difficult situation. Pause, connect with that warrior energy in you, and choose to ACT and not REACT. You are in control of your choices, your life, and your journey.
Embrace your inner warrior!
